February FOURTH the Day of the CURVEBALLER:

Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was an African-American Civil Rights activist, whom the United States Congress called "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement". February 4, 1913, Tuskegee, AL.

February FOURTH the Day of the CURVEBALLER: Those born on February 4 rarely do anything in a straight-line fashion. Because of their unconventionality ,  they sometimes make a less than stellar impression as to their intellect, but in fact they just have their own unusual way of doing things. Some February 4 people realize early on that they do not apprehend the world as others do, and respond by just acting as weird as they wish. Other February 4 people try to be super-straight, but usually fail to carry this off, ending up like a round peg in a square hole. The happiest of February 4 people are plainly themselves and do not rely on a great deal of approval and acclaim.

The degree to which those born on this day must do things their own way can be both amusing and alarming. Often to accomplish the simplest of tasks, they can use the most roundabout, off-the-wall methods. They could be called impractical or even perverse except for the fact that in some strange way these methods seem to work out for them. For example they may have a system of filing information or ordering their appointments that would confuse others and yet they are able to retrieve what they need very quickly, and stay on top of things. In their unusual cognition, front may be back, up down, right left, and so on. Some February 4 people may even display a degree of synesthesia, that is, hearing sounds as colors, colors as sounds, visualizing words as shapes and perhaps remembering facts and numbers through vivid associations.

Spades - Wisdom - Labor – Acceptance
8 of Spades -Power in Work
Karma for the 8 of Spades – Materialism

EIGHT of Spades - The POWER Through WORK Card:  As the "eight of eights", the power card of power cards, the Eight of Spades has the heaviest burden and obligation to use his or her power for good. Spades take us into the spiritual realms though many spade people cannot unrivet their attention from material gain and mastery. Success is almost easy for them, as long as they are willing to work for it many of these people are workaholics. They know that they possess great power. The test comes in how they choose to use it. When they work from a lower sense of values, or when operating from their "fear pattern", they can use this power to destroy themselves. They need to be admired and will work hard for it. They make good providers and will often try to marry those of means also. Divorce is often lucrative for them. They can handle obstacles, which often serve as a measure of their true abilities. They have a profound healing power, and if directed, can transform the lives of those they come in contact with.

eight of spadesEIGHT of Spades: These people have a keen sense of their inherent obligation to work. They have been known to tax their health and sacrifice their loved ones in their drive to get things done. The Eight of Spades often ends up inheriting property or money from their parents or will otherwise obtain substantial help from family members. Although primarily concerned with hard work, this Card does have a higher calling. It is often considered the Healers Card. Should the 8 of Spades use their enormous spiritual energy, and the application of higher wisdom to accomplish their goals, they are sure to find their place among the great ones. Still another class of Eight of Spades will realize nothing besides their innate power. They work solely for the amount of money they can amass, and the joy of being called a "big shot"! http://www.metasymbology.com/

AQUARIUS II: The Week of YOUTH and EASE January 31-February 7: "No hassles" could be the motto of most AQUARIUS II's. Listening to those born in this week, one would gather that they do not like trouble in any form and would do practically anything to avoid it. They value their happiness highly, both in the long term and in the short. AQUARIUS II's generally ask to be left alone to travel their own path with as little interference as possible. Not much interested in controlling others or meddling in their affairs, those born in this week are happy to accord the same treatment to other people that they demand for themselves.

AQUARIUS II NOTABLE Adlai Ewing Stevenson II was an American politician and diplomat, noted for his intellectual demeanor, eloquent public speaking, and promotion of liberal causes in the Democratic Party. He received the Democratic Party's nomination for president in 1952 even though he had not campaigned in the primaries. Stevenson was defeated in a landslide by Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower in the 1952 presidential election. In 1956 he was again the Democratic presidential nominee against Eisenhower, but was defeated in an even bigger landslide. The prominent historian Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr., who served as one of his speechwriters, wrote that "Stevenson was a great creative figure in American politics. He turned the Democratic Party around in the fifties and made JFK possible...to the United States and the world he was the voice of a reasonable, civilized, and elevated America. He brought a new generation into politics, and moved millions of people in the United States and around the world. February 5, 1900 Los Angeles, US.

AQUARIUS II NOTABLES: Charles Dickens, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Adlai Stevenson, James Michener, Clark Gable, Nolan Ryan, James Joyce, An Wang, Mary Leakey, Phil Collins, John Ford, Ida Lupino, Gertrude Stein.

Strengths: ACCOMPLISHED - ADMIRED - REFINED

Weaknesses: IMMATURE - TORTURED - CUT OFF

ADVICE: Try to get in touch with your own deeper feelings. Sometimes it is better to meet problems head on. A bit of pain now may prevent much more latter. Don't be too dependent on others' opinion of you. Have the courage to be yourself and don't feel you have to please or entertain.
