Expect the Unexpected
My name is Tara, and I like to do things that surprise people. I've spent just under a year living in China and it has been an incredible experience.
My name is Tara, and I like to do things that surprise people. Cuddling with a real live tiger in Thailand would be one example. Coming to China is another. But of course, that isn't the only reason I've spent a year living in the Orient. China has a lot to offer, it's a country in a time of immense growth, with a rich and far-reaching history, and a culture extraordinarily different than that of the United States. Even being here for just less than a year, China has had a profound impact on me. I have learned more about myself, reshaped my thinking, and become more aware of the World I live in and the people who are in it.
I will carry a piece of China in my heart wherever I go, and surely I will return here. If you are interested in reading more about my personal journey in China I have kept a blog at www.chinasaywhat.blogspot.com. Anyone who would like to contact me may do so at firstname.lastname@example.org.
